Blessed are the Peace Makers...NO TO POVERTY! NO TO VIOLENCE! NO TO WAR! NO TO KILLING! YES FOR PEACE - BAYANIHAN PARA SA KAPAYAPAAN.

YES FOR PEACE - Bayanihan para sa Kapayapaan is a multi-sectoral campaign with a target audience of 50 million Filipinos - 10 years old and older, to solicit responses on ten (10) questions of Yes for Peace from parents, housemates, relatives, and students upon basic concepts and action steps embodied in United Nations Resolution 53/25 as well as the "Six Paths to Peace" of the Philippines' comprehensive peace process. This advocacy campaign seeks to directly consult Filipinos from all walks of life in establishing a national consensus on PEACE & UNITY in the Philippines as well as to document the Filipino peoples' support for United Nations Resolution 53/243, "Declaration and Programme of Action for a Culture of Peace" through the YES for PEACE - Bayanihan para sa Kapayapaan.

As a multi-sectoral initiative, the Yes for Peace is a continuing peace education campaign being undertaken by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, Department of Education, Philippine Postal Corporation, Office of the Press Secretary - Philippine Information Agency, Office of the Secretary - National Printing Office, Girl Scout of the Philippines, Boy Scout of the Philippines, and Alpha Phi Omega International Philippines, Incorporated.

As the leading organization behind the Yes for Peace, Alpha Phi Omega shall: (1) Assist YES FOR PEACE in identifying potential Resource Integrators and Contributors; (2) Mobilize its collegiate chapters to spearhead the conduct of the campaign in their respective colleges and universities in cooperation with student councils; (3) Monitor the conduct of the campaign through its area-based alumni chapters, in coordination with the GSP and BSP, in schools within their respective communities, municipalities and cities; and (4) Develop and maintain the YES FOR PEACE website.
